It's as if I never knew better
Because I know but, I've lost the will to care.
The Faith is still there,
But if faith without works is dead,
I guess that's gone too.
I've been desensitised to guilt
I've jumped right into the screams and smoke machines.
Everything's loud and hazy,
But I knew it would be when I went in.
I can't remember the last time you spoke to me,
I can't remember what you sound like,
I remember you spoke in poems,
I can't remember what they meant.
It's as if i never knew better
Because I know but, I've lost the will to care.
The Purity is there,
But if sin starts through thought,
I guess that's gone too.
I've been desensitised to guilt
I've jumped right into the screams and smoke machines.
Everything's loud and hazy,
But I knew it would be when I went in.
I can't remember the last time you spoke to me,
I can't remember what you sound like,
I remember you spoke in poems,
I can't remember what they meant.
I can't remember the last time you spoke to me,
I can't remember what you sound like,
I remember you spoke in scripture
I can't remember what it meant.
