All at once.

I see what you see
I feel what you feel
and the only time I can breathe
is in my sleep.
but if i go to bed
I'll just wake to it all there
right infront of me,
Before my eyes

Post Modern Acceptance

I'm a sheep,
the world is my shepherd;
I do not want
but, I follow so naturally.

I'm a bee,
the world is my queen;
I do not want
but, I bow down so helplessly.

I'm stuck in the habit that I cant break,
in a pattern I can't rearrange,
in a way of life that can't be changed,
and apparently you're the same
apparently we're all the same.

I am a dog,
the world is my trainer;
I do not want
but, without it I can not learn.

I am a baby,
the world is my mother;
I do not want
but, life without her I cannot discern.

I've figured out the game,
its one I'll never win.
You can't win against the world.

I am a man,
the world is my religion,
I do not want
but, I do not have a choice.

and apparently you're the same
apparently we're all the same.

If at any time u decide you no longer love me,
Please, try to warn me in advance
So I have a chance to disagree
And, to plead with you not to go but
To wait patiently.
And, If you're still not convinced,
I'll be sure to set you free.

oh, I wish your love was guaranteed,
So that if it stopped I could take it to the shop,
and get it fixed;
under lifetime waranty.

I wish your love was like the earth,
so that if it got cold;
I'd jump on a plane and go
somewhere where it's warm.

Oh, I know, you can't give me that kind of safety,
but, you know, that I would give it to you.
I know, you can't give me that kind of consistency,
you know, I would give you that too.

If wishes came true..

If you change your mind at anytime and realize you don't love me,
I'll let you go but,
In my mind you'll stay mine because, dreams are free.
And, the hurt when I'm awake,
Will fade away when I'm asleep.
And my prayers will be wishes,
that you'll come back
and stay with me.

like the cards they have at valentines:
Full of false hope,
Thats the kind I'm attracted to most.

I wish your love was like the sky,
forever expanding beyond what my eyes,
could ever see.
I wish your eyes would only see me.

I know you can't give me that kind of safety,

I know you can't give me that kind of consistency,
